What will it be like in early February, 2012? Filled with teetotaling Mormons? Will it have plenty of chocolate milk to tempt Willard M. Romney and lovely wife Ann? _____________________________________________________________________________________ from POLITICO description = The Massachusetts ex-governor talks in his usual hokey terms about the state’s natural beauty and reminds audiences of their good fortune to live in Nevada, a sentiment that rings less true as he campaigns in a suburb of Reno, a place never to be confused with San Francisco or, say, Jacksonville, for its aesthetics. Introducing his usual riff about “America the Beautiful” at a metal-supply company here in Sparks on Friday morning, Romney said he was awed by the Reno area’s natural beauty. “You can’t look across Reno as I did this morning from my hotel…looked out across the valley, saw the mountains. This is a beautiful, this is a beautiful city. Mountains around, little snow out on top of the peaks, I saw a lake out in front of the hotel. And, boy, this is a nice spot, you guys live in a lovely place” After landing in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Romney was asked if he planned to try his luck at any of the local casinos. “Ha ha ha,” he laughed. “Not planning on that!” Gambling seems a touchy topic for Romney. In December, rattled by Rick Perry at an Iowa debate, the former Massachusetts governor offered him a $10,000 bet. His Saturday night victory party is at the Red Rock resort, a facility that has a casino but is a 20-minute drive from the famous Vegas Strip. ______________________________________________________________________________________ 10 points for best answer -- thanks for your Polite Posting...
